Altura Trade
The people, technology, and philosophy behind the yield engine that puts stablecoins to work on HyperEVM.
Our Mission
Yield should not demand complexity. That is the founding idea of Altura Trade. Most protocols expect depositors to manage their own positions, track liquidation thresholds, and manually rotate between strategies. The Altura Trade platform was built to eliminate that burden entirely.
Deposit stablecoins. Receive AVLT. Earn genuine yield — yield supported by actual protocol revenue, not inflationary token emissions. That mission has remained unchanged from the very beginning.
The team behind Altura Trade set out to build something precise: a vault system where every basis point of APY is traceable to a real economic activity, whether that is perpetual funding rates, basis trades, or delta-neutral arbitrage across HyperEVM liquidity venues.
Technology & Infrastructure
The Altura Trade protocol runs on HyperEVM, a high-throughput EVM-compatible environment that makes execution cheaper and faster than mainnet Ethereum. Settlement finality is measured in milliseconds, not minutes.
The core vault contract manages the AVLT token — an interest-bearing receipt that accumulates value continuously. When you hold AVLT, the token price itself rises over time rather than your balance growing. This design reduces gas overhead for depositors.
On-chain price feeds are sourced through Chainlink oracle infrastructure where applicable, ensuring that valuation inputs cannot be manipulated by any single party. Strategy execution uses a modular architecture inspired by patterns common in Forge-based testing environments, allowing the team to audit each component independently.
Proof-of-reserves data is published on-chain. Any third party can verify that AVLT backing equals or exceeds outstanding supply at any given block. Transparency is not a feature — it is a constraint the protocol operates under by design.
Our Approach to Yield
Not all yield is equal. Protocols advertising 40% APY on stablecoins are almost always subsidising returns through token inflation — a model that only sustains itself while fresh capital keeps flowing in. The Altura Trade platform does not operate that way.
Strategies deployed by the protocol target market-neutral positions. Funding rate capture on perpetual markets. Basis spreads between spot and futures prices. These are mechanisms that generate revenue regardless of whether the broader market is trending up or down.
The team runs thorough pre-deployment simulations for every new strategy. Historical backtesting covers a minimum of 18 months of market data before any position type enters the live vault. Edge cases — including funding rate flips and liquidity crunches — are explicitly modelled.
When conditions shift, the protocol can reallocate between active strategies without requiring any action from depositors. That adaptive layer is what allows Altura Trade to sustain competitive APY across varying market regimes.
Risk & Security
The Altura Trade team treats risk management as a primary engineering concern, not an afterthought. Each strategy has defined exposure limits. No single position can exceed a fixed percentage of total vault assets, capping potential losses from any individual trade going wrong.
Smart contracts have been reviewed by independent security firms. Audit reports are publicly available. The team operates a continuous monitoring setup that flags unusual on-chain behaviour within seconds — not hours.
The AVLT redemption queue system was introduced as an extra protection layer. Rather than permitting instant withdrawals that could destabilise active positions, redemptions are processed on a scheduled basis. This keeps the vault's deployed capital steady and prevents bank-run dynamics. Visit the help section for a thorough explanation of how the redemption schedule operates.
Chainlink price feeds and independent reserve attestations add external verification that the protocol's internal accounting cannot override. Two separate mechanisms must agree before any large settlement is processed.
The Team
The people behind Altura Trade bring backgrounds in quantitative trading, DeFi protocol engineering, and on-chain security research. The core group has worked together across several market cycles, which matters — teams that have weathered a bear market build differently than those that have not.
Engineering decisions at Altura Trade favour simplicity. Fewer moving parts means fewer attack surfaces. The protocol's architecture reflects that preference at every layer, from the vault contract to the strategy execution logic.
The team communicates publicly through the official X account, the Discord community, and detailed documentation. No announcements are made exclusively through unofficial channels. If something is important, it appears in official venues.
Team expansion is handled carefully. New hires go through a technical review process that includes on-chain forensics exercises and strategy simulation work. The goal is depth over headcount.

What Comes Next
The Altura Trade roadmap centres on three areas. First, additional strategy types targeting yield sources not yet accessible from the current vault. Second, deeper integration with other HyperEVM-native protocols to improve capital routing. Third, expanded transparency tooling so depositors can observe exactly where yield is being generated in real time.
The ALTU token and the YieldRun programme are part of a longer-term design to align protocol incentives with committed long-term depositors rather than mercenary capital. Details continue to develop — follow official channels for updates as they are confirmed.
